A number of social events and activities will be organized during MICRO 2019, aside from the official reception and excursions. While these events are not directly sponsored by the conference, they are designed for MICRO attendees and their families. We expect participants to follow the MICRO Code of Conduct during these activities.

Land-Grant Brewing Company

Tuesday, October 15, 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM, 424 W. Town St., Columbus

Land-Grant Brewing Company is a production craft brewery in the historic Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. Land-Grant was born from a passion for painstakingly-crafted beer, powerful design, and a midwestern sports devotion by alumni of Ohio State, co-founders Adam Benner and Walt Keys. On September 16, 2014, Land-Grant brewed its first batch (Son of a Mudder Brown Ale), and one month later, opened the doors to its Franklinton taproom and brewing facility on October 18, 2014. What started as a two-person aspiration has quickly grown into a 40+ person operation.
