Presentation and Poster Instructions for Authors

This message is to guide you, as a Micro-45 author, in preparation for your presentations at Micro-45. Please read carefully as there are instructions below describing how to prepare for the lightning and poster sessions.

In addition to having a regular formal presentation slot at the conference this year, you will have the opportunity to present your work in two other sessions: the lightning session and the poster session. I describe below how each session will work.

  1. Instructions for your regular presentation:

    Your regular session presentation is allotted a total of 30 minutes, including Questions and Answers from the audience. I would recommend planning for a 25-minute formal conference talk, followed by 5 minutes dedicated for Questions and Answers.

  2. Instructions for the lightning session (Monday, December 3, 10:30am-noon):

    The lightning session is the first session after Keynote I on Monday and it is a single large session, so I expect almost all conference attendees to be present in this session.

  3. Instructions for the poster session (Tuesday, December 4, 3:00-5:30pm):
