VISA Information

Citizens of some countries may need a VISA to attend MICRO-41 in Italy (the list of countries can be found here after). If you will need a visa, please plan to apply ASAP, since the process can often take time.

Attendees that need an invitation letter to obtain a visa please email Cristina Silvano ([email protected]) with the subject line "MICRO41 - VISA INVITATION LETTER REQUEST" and include the following details in the message body:

• Name, date of birth, gender and nationality
• Passport Number
• Affiliation
• Mail address
• Reason for attending (e.g., speaker or attendee)
• If a speaker, the title of your paper that will be presented at MICRO41.

Please note the following:

1. Ensure that your email request subject line contains the keywords "MICRO41 - VISA INVITATION LETTER REQUEST"
2. A scanned (signed) letter of invitation will be sent via email.

Who requires a visa to Italy?
Nationals bearing ordinary passports of the following countries/regional configurations are subject to visa obligations:

Nationals of the following countries do not require a visa for visits up to a maximum of 90 days, for tourism, on missions, business, invitations ought to take part in sports events:
