Nightly Meeting Spots

Following on the great idea of other recent conferences, we're suggesting some unofficial meeting places for each conference evening. Obviously, NYC has a lot of places to go, but we've chosen some closer to the hotel:

Sunday after the reception:
BB King's:
237 W. 42nd Street
Just next door to the 42nd St. entrance of the Westin.
There's live music and no cover in the Lucille's Grill portion.

Monday Night:
Heartland Brewery:
43rd St. between Broadway & 6th Ave.

Tuesday Night:
Rockefeller Center Ice Rink:
Between 48th and 51st streets, and between 5th & 6th Ave.
An easy walk between the banquet near Grand Central Terminal and the hotel near Times Square, we suggest you look for Micro-42 attendees on or near the ice rink. This is also the spot to see NYC's most famous Christmas Tree all lit up!

Women in Computer Architecture:
We warmly invite all women attending the conference to get to know one another immediately following the Sunday night reception. Typically, we meet up just outside the reception at the time that it officially ends and head out to a destination arranged by someone local. This can be for dinner, dessert, or drinks, depending on hunger or mood. Details will be posted here once they are worked out.
