MICRO 2008 Information for Authors

 

MICRO 2008 submissions will be judged on originality, significance, interest, clarity, and correctness. A submission consists of an abstract and a manuscript formatted according to the instructions provided below. All submissions will be made electronically through the Micro conference submission page, indicated below.

 

Abstract Guidelines

 

- Abstracts are to be in English, include a short description of the key topics, and should not exceed 300 words.

 

- Abstracts will be used for preliminary reviewer assignment.

 

- The abstract submission deadline is 21:00 (9pm) US CDT Tuesday May 13, 2008. No extensions will be granted.  

 

Manuscript Guidelines

 

- Manuscripts must be submitted in PDF (readable by Adobe AcrobatReader 4.0 and higher) and formatted for 8.5" x 11" paper.

 

- Manuscripts are to be written in English and should be formatted as follows: single column, ten-point font or larger, double spacing, and up to 20 pages including figures, tables, references, etc. Papers that grossly exceed this limit will be rejected by the Program Chairs without further review.

 

- Authors should make reasonable effort to hide their identity in order to facilitate blind review. Citations to the authors' own prior work should be included, but referred to in the third person. Acknowledgements should be omitted. Other identifying references should be removed to the extent possible.

 

- The manuscript submission deadline is 21:00 (9pm) US CDT Tuesday May 20, 2008. No extensions will be granted.  

 

- Final pubslihed manuscripts will be double column format, ten-point font, single spacing, up to 10 pages (authors may purchase up to 2 additional pages) including figures, tables, references, etc. Final formatting requirements will be provided after paper acceptance notification. The final manuscripts will be due September 4, 2008.

 

Guidelines on Conflict of Interest

 

When you submit your work, you will be asked to create a list of people with whom you have a conflict of interest. For this purpose, we are defining a conflict of interest as:
