Weather

Late November/Early December is a beautiful time to be in North Carolina as the trees pass through their final change of color at the end of Fall. Temperatures are mild and crisp, with highs averaging 58 deg. F, lows 37 deg. F, and an overall daily average of 47 deg. F.

The Research Triangle Park and Surrounding Area

The conference will be held in the heart of North Carolina's beautiful Piedmont region at Research Triangle Park, a 6,900-acre campus dedicated to nurturing research and development organizations. Research Triangle Park (RTP) is recognized internationally as perhaps the most successful university-industry technology parks. The Research Triangle area of North Carolina is named for the triangle formed by the three cities and universities: North Carolina State University (Raleigh), Duke University (Durham), and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill).
